Powered by innovative Mobile INS (Inelastic Neutron Scattering) technology, CAS delivers soil intelligence of unrivalled accuracy. The globally patented MINS unit scans the field in-situ and uploads data in real-time in the cloud. Next, the CAS software processes the data immediately to visualise different soil characteristics in comprehensive maps.

Measured at the atomic level, the accuracy is 80% higher than traditional soil sampling. The data integrity, transparency and security are guaranteed because they are GPS-tracked and uploaded in secure ledgers. As a result, we deliver data of high quality and quantity, at high speed and low cost.

Cloud Technology

A robust cloud-based data management system ensures data accuracy and integrity.

After processing in the cloud, the data is made immutable by secure digital ledgers.

Blockchain

To add an extra layer of confidence, and if required as part of the carbon program, a third-party auditor can access the verification part of the CAS portal to verify and validate the data.

Once a validation or verification report is issued, files are locked and stored in blockchain technology, ensuring the integrity of each project step. This is the basis of the CAS registry, where carbon projects are listed and traded.

Accuracy

Through measuring at the atomic level, MINS unit provides an 80% increase in accuracy compared to traditional soil sampling methods, to within 1.1mg C/cm3 at a 95% confidence interval.

Certainty

By scanning a continuous path of 1.5m wide and 30cm in depth, the MINS unit captures a volumetric soil sample, increasing certainty and accuracy, whilst mitigating the inherent variability of soil. The MINS unit can currently scan approximately 256 hectares per day (640 acres).

The MINS unit continuously measures soil content in situ and sends the data to the cloud every 30 seconds, providing near real-time results.
